After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business Technology from Appalachian State University, Amy joined the industrial automation industry in 1994 when she started work at JMT Automation and Controls (now Cross Automation). There she held various sales positions including Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Business Development Coordinator. Over a seven-year period, she covered most geographic areas in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. While at Cross Automation she gained extensive knowledge in the areas of PLCs, sensors, variable speed drives, operator interfaces, and industrial safety products. In September of 2001 Amy brought her product knowledge and industry experience, along with a background in accounting, to R.L. Matus & Associates as our Office Coordinator and Inside Salesperson.
